Greenbulb Energy’s port engineers ensure the smooth operation of port cranes for the continued supply of food and essential supplies coming through Malaysia’s seaports

KUALA LUMPUR: Greenbulb Energy Sdn Bhd, a turnkey solutions provider of the modernisation of cranes for seaports and power plants across the Asia Pacific, will remain operational during the movement control order period.

Its team of port engineers are deployed to projects across Malaysia to ensure the smooth operation of port cranes and no breakdown of equipment, for the continued supply of food and medical supplies coming through Malaysia’s seaports.

Greenbulb Energy founder and managing director Andy Low says the business is classified as an essential service under the MCO as it operates within the scope of repair and maintenance of electrical and power services in seaports and power plants.

“My team whom I deem as frontliners of the logistics and power industry are aware of the unseen dangers and are prepared to work alongside other frontliners during such challenging times, ” says Low.

The team at Greenbulb Energy consist of engineers with over 18 years of experience in engineering and have serviced clients from Indonesia, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand.

“Their safety remains paramount as they continue their work on site namely at power generation plants, container and cargo ports, petrochemical and refinery plants, and process automation plants.

“We are taking the necessary occupational safety and health precautions to ensure that our engineers are working in a safe environment while being able to continue supporting the logistics and power industry in Malaysia, ” he adds.

Established in 2016, Greenbulb Energy Sdn Bhd specialises in crane modernisation, upgrade and automation for seaports and power plants across the Asia Pacific. Greenbulb Energy is the first and only in-house design team for proprietary cranes solutions in Malaysia.
