Efficiency Enhanced: Advanced Siemens Sinamics System Powers Bulk Material Handling

Greenbulb Energy is delighted to announce the successful completion of a drive and control system upgrade project for Grab Ship Unloader at a coal power plant in Lumut, Perak, Malaysia. This project, accomplished within a tight timeframe of three weeks, showcases Greenbulb Energy's dedication to optimizing power generation operations.

In Lumut, Perak, Malaysia, Greenbulb Energy has once again demonstrated its expertise in advancing bulk material handling operations. The recent project focused on the upgrade of the drive and control system for Ship Unloader SUL02, a critical component of a coal power plant in the region.


The upgrade involved transitioning from the Siemens Simovert system to the advanced Siemens Sinamics system. This modernization significantly enhances the efficiency and precision of bulk material handling, particularly coal unloading, within the power plant. The project was executed with remarkable efficiency, completed in a mere three weeks without any holidays. A dedicated day-night shift ensured continuous progress, minimizing disruption to the power plant's operations.


This project represents the second successful project in Greenbulb Energy's ship unloader upgrade portfolio. It follows the previous project, which is now seamlessly integrated into the power plant's operations. Together, both upgraded ship unloaders symbolize Greenbulb Energy's commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions for the bulk material handling industry.
