Reconnecting the Pulse of Port Operations Amidst Pandemic Obstacles

In a testament to unwavering commitment and ingenuity, Greenbulb Energy proudly announces the successful remote commissioning and revival of three Rubber Tyre Gantry (RTG) Cranes in Subic Bay, The Philippines. Amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and aging equipment, Greenbulb Energy has reinvigorated port operations with cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions.

In the picturesque port of Subic Bay, The Philippines, Greenbulb Energy embarked on a journey that would prove to be a true testament to resilience and adaptability. Three aging Rubber Tyre Gantry (RTG) Cranes, equipped with outdated Simovert drives and suffering from a multitude of broken parts, were in dire need of attention.

The timing of this project was marked by the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021 when travel and on-site work were severely restricted. However, the dedicated team at Greenbulb Energy rose to the challenge, determined to breathe new life into these critical pieces of port infrastructure.

The endeavor was nothing short of extraordinary. Working remotely from Malaysia, Greenbulb Energy's team embarked on a meticulous troubleshooting process, identifying and rectifying each issue with the precision of a surgeon. It was a labor of dedication and expertise, one that would see the revival of all three RTG Cranes.

But the story doesn't end there. In a stroke of innovation, Greenbulb Energy managed to install a robust wireless connection for the RTG Cranes, enabling direct remote control from Malaysia. This wireless solution not only reconnected the heartbeats of port operations but also showcased Greenbulb Energy's forward-thinking approach to challenges.

The remote commissioning and wireless connectivity now ensure that the RTG Cranes perform optimally, contributing to smoother and more efficient port operations. This achievement is a testament to Greenbulb Energy's commitment to delivering excellence and innovation in the face of adversity.

Greenbulb Energy extends its gratitude to the Subic Bay port authorities and its dedicated team members for their unwavering collaboration and tenacity throughout the project.
